Is anyone going to the Spring Fling show on Panama City Beach this weekend??? My buddy is bringing his turbo 240 and I guess i'll have my GTP, but I was hoping to see some J's there. Last year there were like 2. With spring break on and everyone cruisin "the strip", Saturday night's going to be pretty crazy also.

My 'new' '96 GT is in the paint shop as we speak...it'll be out Friday morning...we slap shyt on it all day...drive down to PC in the EARLY a.m. My buddy's taking his RX-8...bunch of guys from TeamND out of E-prise, AL...Next Level out of Montgomery, AL and Wiregrass Underground out of Dothan, AL...all in all, about 30?

Unfortunately, real world worries stop lots of people from going to shows. But, after all, IT'S JUST OUR HOBBY...and we need the real world stuff to pay for it!!!

As for my 'fire...it's black...black as black can get! LOL We tore off all the trim pieces and they're getting redone and painted the same color as the body...including door handles, mirrors, sunroof trim...everything! Interior is red...just had the rear seat redone...yanking the red factory seats and putting in my Weapon R Tsukubas with harnesses. I'm going to 'glass' the dash and doors with matching black before, I hope, May's outing. Ordered a gorgeous set of black/gunmetal Masa 16" wheels...so, black's the theme!
You know the sad thing? People don't realize, that with just a few mods...our cars look gorgeous. Hell, when I slammed out my red one...its whole look changed. The guys at the speed shop, who, just 10 minutes prior were asking me if I was gonna put a body kit on it...went "daaaamn," when it came off the rack 2.5 inches off the deck.
I've had people walk up on it at shows and go "what is that? a ferrari?" LOL So, yellow'...not finished...who cares...BRING IT! It's a j'...they're gorgeous! Anyway, see you somewhere! Good luck on the new job 03ls! And don't worry about pics, I just went out and bought 10 1-gig SD's for my camera! You want more girls...more cars? ...more girls ON cars? Post up! LOL
i was out there this weekend. not a lot of j's out there like there should have been, but all in all good show. the best looking j's were gary's and mine. i ended up with 2nd place j-body mild.

I was down there on i only seen like 2 jbodys... I took first in gm car mild. For some reason the would not let me in with the other j-bodys. anyone have a answer? They didnt put me in that catagory last year either...
