My grandparents are getting older in their lives and it was brought to my attention by my family that they are going to need to be moved to an assisted living community and sell their brand new house they had built in Vero Beach or someone is going to need to move down there. I graduate from college in another year ( i'm a year behind because i slacked off as a freshman with partying) and right now the plans are, that once i wrap up my motor swap and @!#$ with my cavalier in 2009 or get it mainly reassembled, I am moving from NY and move in with them to help out with chores and maintenance. I've wanted out of this cold ass state for many years now and this is my big chance.
I will also be down in march this year for my spring break with the G/f. I know the area pretty well as they use to live in Port St. Lucie, but currently they are right down the road from the mall there in a gated community.

sounds like a great opportunity, man. i came to orlando all the way from michigan. my only "family" here is my girlfriend, who moved here to go to school also. florida is an awesome place, and the J community here in orlando is pretty nice. good luck with the move!

Orlando isn't that far from Vero Beach, as we've flown into there before and drove down to my grandparents to save some money in air fare. Couple hrs, The J scene in NY is pretty well shot with no real die hard guys in my area except chris who i work with at RDFABS. Everyone else is by the island or Buffalo. I'm going to be happy i can run my car year round instead of 4 mos out of the year. What a bitch that is.
