2000 cavalier forsale... Take a look
Thursday, January 17, 2008 6:51 AM
Up for sale is my 2000 Cavalier 2200 3spd Auto. The car has a salvage title due to airbag
deployment after a run-in with a lovely stray hunting dog. with that i had to replace the
radiator but the AC condenser was fine so i left it. New steering wheel but on the passenger
side of the dash still shows evidense of deployment. the airbags were replaced and no
structural damage was incured. I would like to get as close to 3500 as possible or a trade
even for a few vehicles. Im looking anything thats bagged all around but leaning mostly
towards a mini truck with a smaller motor, but dont hold back any offers if u have one with
a bigger motor. also i will consider any MK2 Supra.

My reason for selling is in the giant town of beulaville northcarolina i cant ride through
the middle of town without getting pulled over for "looking suspicious" or your windows this
or your tailights this. It gets alot of attention and time for a new look. I love the car
just not right for me anymore.

On To The Pictures. Please excuse the mess. It will be detailed and cleaned throughly if a
deal is worked out.

Interior

just that i got them from radio shack.

Exterior:

Shaved trunk.
17 inch Driftz rims with fuzion HRI tires lots of tread left
custom painted tail lights. I can repaint to your liking or put stock on.

Suspention:
stock
The springs were heated to lower it and i have a replacement set of stock suspention

Engine:
2200 3spd auto trans
Bone stock with cone air filter and exhaust behind the stock cat

This car is a very sound car. And has been a great car since ive had it. Capable of well over 25
MPG. Needs a little touching up and tender love and care. Id love to sell it to someone off
this website or the org.

Also Have some bommex side skirts and a Buddy club rear bumper that i can fix and put on and
paint. If you'd like any other front bumper send it to me ill put it on for you and paint
it. The front bommex bumper is gone already.

If you want to buy it cash the closest to 3500 OBO gets it.

Im in eastern North Carolina zipcode 28518. My phone number is 19103750024. Call me if your
interested anytime. If i dont answer leave a voicemail for Calvin.

Salvage title?
Car looks good. But like elf said, you'd be lucky to get a grand mainly cuz of that. I'd drive up there and pick it up and give you $800 for it.
Mods dont help sell a car for more unfortunately ;( Trust me, my car aint worth poop! But it does look good. Good luck!!

the interior is in better shape then the pictures give credit for. Just got alot of mess piled up ill clean it out and take some more sell worth pics tomorrow if i dont have to work. im beginning to think im better off parting it out though. I have to replace the white painted interior and new door panels because it makes it look crappy. i liked it to begin with then it just started looking cheaper and cheaper. The car was always taken good care of and carefully detailed each season. The suspention is being swapped monday.

I agree that $3500 is a little much for it, but $800, please. One thing I do not understand is salvaged title just from air bags? I'm beting more was wrong with it. Does not seem to be much to part out. I would try somewhere around $2500 for the car.

Also 3 speed auto's are not uncommon with 2200's actuially more common than the 4 speeds.

i threw 3500 up there to give some negotiating room. If someone wants to offer me 2500 ill take it but im keeping it if not.

The trunk lid is done right. Welded filler plates in and then a little bondo to get it perfect.
And jake. If you want one ill make u one welded of course and in primer or sell you mine if the price is right.

Oh and thank you very much john

ill take one of those lids if you can french the tag into it. how much?

Re: 2000 cavalier forsale... Take a look

ill have to do some research. I think i can get a tag box from SD. where do u want the tag frenched at? which side? whats it worth to ya man? ill see how much the SD tag box is. if u can order the box and have it delivered to me along with some money to ship the complete trunk back to you if your not picking it up that would be good. shoot me an offer for the work. i've been wanting to meet up with the guys from SV for a while... when is you guys next meet and where?

http://www.suicidedoors.com/SheetmetalLicensePlateBoxes.php

Thats the link for the tag box... You can get it in 1 2 or 3 inch. all the same price. 3 inches sounds a little deep for a trunk as thin as ours though.
