good call, Omar.. this is an amazing band, I just wish I woulda caught on to them sooner (I've been listening to them for about 2 yrs.. their rhythm guitarist is who inspired my haircut).. you should go to my "channel" or whatever on YouTube and check out some of my other A7X favorites... "EcoCaviZ24"

now, the reason I posted this was 'cause yesterday evening when I was leaving to go to my mom's to pick up the X-man, I was almost hit by a dump truck doin AT LEAST 65mph who was runnin thru red lights and intersections with an armored truck and a police car right behind him. I dunno if he was runnin from the cops or if his brakes failed on him, but either way, if I woulda went with the green light like I was supposed to, needless to say, I'd be dead right now.. a Jetta isnt THAT tough.. ironically, I had A7X in the cd player at the time and Seize the Day happened to come on a track or so later. then after talking to you on AIM last night, I felt the need to post the song and the lyrics to it (and the video is simply amazing.. I actually got watery-eyed watching it the first couple times). call me a fag or whatever, I dont care.. we all need a reality check, and almost becoming the hood ornament of a Mack truck was mine..... seize the day or regret the time you lost...

u guys just caught onto avenged sevenfold. man ive been listening to them since 2002 when their first album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet came out. they are hands down the best band around and will be for many years and Synyster Gates, their lead guitarist is a god. they dont have one bad song at all. hope you guys enjoy them

dude, I am head over for them... by like you said, my sister was way into them back when that album was out, and come to find out, so was my wife.. even when I first met her, she had this small 7"x7" A7X flag.. she ended up giving it away to neighborhood girl where we used to live, which pisses me off 'cause I wanted to fly the flag from my car antennae.. hopefully I'll find another one I also heard that Fall Out Boy actually made fun of the guitar solo from Seize The Day where Synyster Gates was playin on the coffin.. not cool
