going from not even ranked in the top 25 to begin the year to the 2nd ranked team now this has been one crazy season!
if this plays out....USF vs OSU for the title!!
w00t
man that sucks! usf had their chances to win during the rutgers game and didn't take advantage of em
Well when you play special teams like... well a "special" team...
Grothe is one man. Tonight, he could have used another 10.
3 points? 3 f-cking points?!
Ah man.
Your fight begins tonight.
i knew the knights would beat em!
too bad it wasnt my knights... oh well, a bad day for usf is a good day for ucf! WAHOO!
guess they are not #2 anymore
decent game thou
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
still....one loss is nothing to sob about. look at how many there are....they can at least say they have less than the gators and trojans.....(is that right? lol)
they have one loss going into some tough conference games.. just as everyone predicted they will lose towards the end of their schedule in the big east
we will see if they can finish with one loss.. is it possible? yes, likely? who knows....
I think more people predicted them to lose @ Auburn and to #5 West Virginia... The only other "threats" on USF's schedule at the beginning of the season were Rutgers and Louisville. Both of those teams have a few losses and did not have the season they were expected to.
I never thought USF was the #2 team in the nation, but it was fun watching Tampa get excited for their home college team. I walked into a USF outfitter's store after the FAU game and they had boxes upon boxes of merchandise coming in. Earlier visits seemed more like a trip to a showroom rather than a retail store.
It really reminded me of FSU my freshman year (2000, after their 99 National Championship and return visit to the Championship game in 00).
I just hope Tampa doesn't give up now. USF is still a good team.
yea there's still alot of games left to be played but going from not even ranked in the top 25 at the beginning of the year to getting a number 2 ranking is quite an accomplishment! especially when you take into account how young the football program is only 11 years geez!
