Hey Guys..
I have a problem....
I REALLY want to Turbo my 04 LS Sport -AUTO!!
I have a buddy who was going to help with the install, but e doesnt ahve a pipe bender, so that causes alot of problems..
I am going to go with the Hahn Stage I turbo kit, because I dont know much about turbo's and coldnt piece one together myself..
Anyway...My friend wont be able to do the install without the Pipe Bender, becuase I'm going to need custom pipes for my Intercooler, Downpipe, and Uppipe, since the kit is Stick only!
Basically, I was wondering if anyone "kind of local" knows anything about installing a turbo, and has the right stuff to do it. (welder, Pipe bender and such)
I would LOVE to do it in one day, so If i'm far from home, otherwise ill be sleeping in the car..lol..
I'm not going to be doing it anytime soon, Probably in like 4-6 months..just want to see if anyone here can help. I'll pay what ever I can for the install and your hard work and all that, but i'm not made of money so yeah..
I hate even asking, but I dont know any other way to get this thing installed, and I would hate to take it to a shop and leave it there for a week, waiting for the install...
If this doesnt work, I have to go the Supercharger route..

well, if you go the supercharger route, I can definately help you with that. I can't weld or anything, but I might be able to in 6 months...

You need to hit up John Higgins or Robert Green. They are here in Jax and they do great work.

First off you really do not want a pipe bender (unless it is a Mandrel bending. YOu can buy mandrel bent piping and make the intercooler pipes and downpipe. We have done it. You will not get it done in one day. Installiong the kit once everything is made yes, but making the piping welding it etc.. no.

I know a place that will do what you need . but I will tell you now you will not get it done in one day .. come on think of it this way in order to custom build the intercooler pipe it will be the biggest part of the day .. . If you do not go with a intercoller then ok no big deal can be done in one day .
OOO yeah BTW the place that I'm talking about is my place .. let me know when you would like to do this and me and John will do it for you . I do all the fab and welding needed

Wish I would have knows that when i was putting my muffler on...Went to normandy and they charged flippin $80!!!!!
But yeah, before I do it, I need some other things done first. Upper and Lower Engine Mounts, Bigger exhaust. I'm thinking 2.5" cat-back. Things like that.
Oh yeah, still trying to find a job too..thats the biggest thing I need. I just moved here, and i didnt know it was gonna be this hard to find one...sheesh..
