Sorry you have not heard of HPT?? It is a program that allows you to change things in the factory ECU. I know someone who got 6-8 wheel horsepower across the power band on a stock Ecotec with just some tuning of the ECU with HPT. They also got 227whp with 8psi on the same motor with HPT tuning.

well lets see how much to get the rev limiter off and add as much hp as that little box can?
yea what he said... well my car is unique kuz the shift linkake needs to me adjusted so if i put the car in park, its really between park and reverse, and thn i have no limiter... but the speed limiter would be nice 2 ditch...

Well VMPTuning just a little north of Orlando has HPT and a dyno. Best beat is to get them to tune your car for your mods. They have a N/A tune on a bone stock Ecotec which gained 6-8 whp across the power band. They did not raise rev limiter because there was no need. Power started falling after 6k. To have that tune loaded to your car it would cost about $300. For a custom tune contact them directly for pricing. Remember to register a car on HPT it is $100 in just credits. Once my HPT is here I can raise your rev limiter (if you really must have it), and speed limiter. Still the credits will cost me $100, so I would expect that and maybe something on the side.
