I have a subscription to SCC (they sometimes have j-body features), and in the last couple months, the debate has been on what kinda GM they wanna adopt as a project car. Originally, they were gonna go with a Cobalt SS Supercharged.. but they gotta bunch of letters from people sayin they should go with a j-body instead. With that, the editor left a note that said that if we, the people, wanna see a j in the project garage, we need to make out voices heard. Well, I had every intention of writing in, but kept forgetting to bring a mag with me to get the right address to email it to. And I was on the site forever tryin to find it, and couldnt (I'm not very computer saavy). Well, I got the new issue in the mail, and holy sh*t, they had an entire section of letters just of people wanting to see a j as the new project. According to the editor, it looks like we won!! He asked the rest of the j community to write in with ideas, and propositions of what kind to use, and where to find one cheap. I have the copy with me, and I will be writing them myself tonight.
