I am travelling to Orlando on May 20 and staying for a week. My son was granted a wish from Children's Wish Foundation so we are off to Disney. I was just wondering if there are any good speed shops in the area? Also does anyone have any leads on a lip kit for my 02 Cavalier. Apparantly here in Canada it has been discontinued through the dealerships and finding one at the wreckers is next to impossible. If anyone knows of a dealership that may have either the front or rear kit in stock please let me know. Thanks.

Just looking for shops to look around in. The main purpose of the trip is for our son. He is 3 and a half and has a major heart condition so he was granted a wish to see Disney and Mickey Mouse. He also loves cars so a few speed shops might be fun to visit.

their are a bunch just ask around... Here in kissimmee were give kids the world is located we have, Speedzone, Roadrunner, Extreme, Speed Innovations lots most of them are on the street after Orange Blossem Trail called Michigan. Their are also a lot on OBT aswell. Hope to hear back from you soon and sorry to hear about your son. I did some volunteering for GKTW and I had a blast just helping out so im sure he and you all will as well good luck my friend....

I think Children's Wish is trying to get us into Star Island Resort. They cover every thing from airfare to accommodation and park admission. We are even provided a rental vehicle for the week. A mini van I think. No Hummer darn. We are looking forward to the trip. I heard that old town is the place to go on friday or saturday for the car cruise. Any comments? We might even take the drive to Daytona to see the speedway and Daytona USA. Does anyone have any info on front and rear lips for my 02 Cav. Maybe someone knows of a wrecker that might have them? Thanks for all of the info so far.

ya old town is the place to go Thursday nights is bike night Friday night is the street cars and other cars and Saturday night is the older cars. Star Island is right down the street from my house and GKTW

We are probably going to make the visit to Old Town on friday night. Are there lots of opportunity for pics? This trip will be a memory builder for my wife and I. The doctors are not willing to commit to any time line for Andrew. We still think they are shocked he is still here. Originall when he was born in Nov 03 ( 3 months premature) they said wait and see. In March 04 they gave him till the end of June. It is now May 07 and he is still here thank God. Looking forward to the trip and just seeing the area. Thanks for all the info so far.

She does need a lip kit front and rear. Andrew does enjoy the stereo system. He loves bass so soon to be added will be a 4 channel and a mono amp and sub.

Everything is set. We arrive in Orlando around noon. Rental vehicle will probably be a Dodge Caravan (whoopee). We are staying at Star Island resort in the 3 bedroom villa which apparantly has everything we could need. Spending money for meals and gas were also provided. We cant wait to see Orlando, Kissimee Disney etc.. Who knows what goodies I can find for the cav while hitting the speed shops. Thanks to all for all of the tips.
