Well for most of you that know and some that dont. I ran into a very serious issue last night / today. Found out that I have a Spun Barring, So hopefully I can get this fix before the show and if anyone knows how much it would cost to get this fixed please let me know... How the hell does this happen anyhow?

Well it can happen for many reasons. Low oil, poor oiling. It really happens because of too much heat and friction in the bearing. To fix it well you need a engine rebuild. Best bet would be buy a used motor and put in. I know LKQ usually has some for a decent price. I know we have a couple 2200 motors up here that are in good shape as well.

i got a new engine kinda new 2005 tho which im happy instead of a 2003. Has 19000 miles on soooo its pretty much brand new in my book. Um the problem was that i had 2 bent pistions from when the car overheated about 3 weeks ago saturdaynight at a gas station next to school. And the knocking was from the bottem end bearing going out.
So hopefully the car will be back here in a week. Got sum goodies for it as well so i cant wait. Hopefully will the HIDS b4 it gets back. laters

Got the car back today and holy hell does the 05 motor make a difference... I love it + the fixed my leaky down pipe / header so its so much more calm and quit. I can cherp 2nd gear woot. lol guess ill ttyl gonna go get sum wow on for an hour or so then work tomorrow. Have a great day everyone ( saturday ) Casper!

Why did it over heat? Was there a coolant leak or something? I am just wanting to keep an eye on things for my girls eco. It is an 03 and the mileage is starting to get on up there. I watch my gauges, but I know she wont.
