So after much debate with myself i have decided to repaint the car YAY!! well i have had a couple people help me with some chops (mainly MANTA Z) ** thanks stephen** well i had the ideas but was never able to put them into visual until stephen decided to help me...
Heres the car as it sits today...all of its vinyl grafix glory...whichi still think looks good but needs to go as it is getting brittle and chipping off...
Well here is the first idea...It involves me keeping my IF front end, and switching my rear to something that i like better then what i have now!!
So i like this one...but it involves me changing my hood again...eh
Well the second Idea was this concept....This one involves me going back to the bomex front end...which i dont mind...i just hate the rear so it would be a BC @ rear or the like!!
i really like this one.....but i would still have to change my hood blah!!
Well after many hours we came up with this one....which has the rims painted the way that i want them and i get to keep my hood the way that it is now!!**not shown in the pic is the hood on the car**
So im pretty much in love with this one...and i think this is prolly what it will end up looking like!! although the white on the rear quarter panel will curve more towards the spoiler on the trunk!!
Well thats the ideas that i have been tossing around... opinions would be appreciated, all other stuff will just be laughed at!!

if anything eric, the third one is the best one and you can sell me your hood and i'll give you mine.
dark colors are best on the bottom of the car and not on top, that's just me
bomex front would be better, too

I like the first one, but I would think about changing it a little. Also why would you have to change hoods for the first one?

I just don't think I would start the white on the front bumper is all. Start at the hood and fender, but not the front bumper. It makes the bumper looks a little weird. I think the IF front bumper is 1 of the 2 best fronts for a J. That is why I have it on one of my J's. I also have the other best front bumper on my other one.

ugh man, those are pretty ugly if u ask me
i like the design you have now. i do however like the rim paint idea if you do end up going with a two tone.
#2.... and give me your front old IF bumper
EDIT yay dialup messed up my post.

I like #2 the most, but if you are planning on doing your jambs at all, might want to explore other color ideas. And defintiely do not paint your wheels, matter of fact they'd probably look better sold and replaced with some chrome wheels, but thats just because I <3 metallic green w/ chrome.

i would go with a solid color, im not into the 2-tone paint but if i had to choose it would be white on top. have you concidered a different base color?

John brings up a good point with the jams. You could get away with leaving them green (if you are going to do the same green). To do it right you would want to paint the 2 tone into the jams. When I say jams I am not talking aboutjust around the door seal. I mean up into the area where the hinges are etc..... White would be killer on showing dirt, and it is hard ot clean that area.

if i had to go with any it would be the first one
