Well guys and girl, first of all, my brother is takin' the computer with him when he moves out the first of the year.
So, i'll have to find a way to get online somewhere else to keep in touch and all that fun stuff but...
I just found out that my motors is shot and need to replace it.
The mechanic who looked at it said a new motor would be 900 plus 900 for labor.
If anyone can help me out ( i can only post 11 more times this month) let me know

The mechanic said that due to high rpms, the piston broke and there is low compression in cylinder 2 with NO compression in cylinder 4.
I don't know what else to do but get some money to get another engine installed. Hope i can find a way to the meet the 30th in Orlando but i doubt it. Sorry everyone.

sorry to hear bro. too bad your way too far from me. i'd gladly help. since the motor needs replaced, i'd get a new one and build it insted of putting a stock engine in, unless the car is your daily driver. and 900 is a good price for a
new or
rebuilt engine. labor isn't too bad either

go to a junkyard and see if they have one laying around...get it tested by them and make sure it doesnt have any water in it or anything.....couldnt be more then 250 from the yard and then talk to me i might be able to find a place to swap it for you for cheap.....ive got 3 under my belt so far so why not make it a fourth hahahah......let me talk to one of my friends and ill see what i can come up with!!

I good 2.4 motor will cost between $700-900 (shipped). I know 2 guys in Jacksonville area that can put it in in 24 hours for $600.

im near charlotte nc and i have a 2.4 with about 4500 miles on it i jujst rebuilt b4 my wiring harness fried and i could sell it for 600 has a balanced crank new rings and all that. if ur interested i may be able to meet you in southern GA somewhere if you have a truck to get it.
