hmm...that's a bit far, 4 hours round trip...I'm heading back North at the end of this week, maybe I'll stop by one of 'em. Thanks for the heads up.
Looking at your profile, I am surprised I never saw you at Music City Raceway. I used to race their all the time for a few years.

I went there once on a Tuesday night.
It was a long drive from my house, I hated it.
It is in the middle of nowhere. I have found that Huntsville Raceway is a little closer to me than Music city. The bad thing about Music City is if you have already driven that far, you might as well drive another 30-45 mins and go to bowling green for a 1/4 mile. I used to run the Tues night test and tunes up there. I also used to go on the sunday test n tunes when they had them. There is a dyno in AL that use HPtuners and is supposed to be pretty good for the LS1 guys. I will have to see if I can dig up their name. How do you like your s/c?

I didn't know there was a 1/4 mile in Bowling Green. That's good news.
Have you ever gone to Nashville Superspeedway off of 840? Some people say it's an 1/8 mile, others says it's a 1/4 mile, so I dunno.
What about Huntsville? 1/8 or 1/4. I had no idea these tracks were so close to me.
I'm liking the supercharger so far, I have a smaller pulley just screaming to be installed. The worst thing about the supercharger is the tune, it runs too rich, and there's no way to alter it. Anywhere between 8 Hg and 0 boost, it runs ~10.5:1 afr. It's discusting, and drives me crazy, maybe I'm just anal.
Also, about the supercharger; my first gear is worthless in boost. My tires won't grip and I'll spin them. Second gear is fun, and I'm looking foward to installing my Control Arm Bushings and getting some softer tires so I can fully enjoy my first gear.
The Superspeedway never built their dragstrip. It was supposed to build a 1/4 mile, but they lost interest.
Huntsville is the one I had been going to most recently. It is also 8th mile, but it is the closest to me. Silverdollar in GA is also 1/4 mile, as is Memphis.
I would like to do more stuff to my cav, but I have other projects.

Do you have an address to the ones in Tuscaloosa? Are they open on Sundays?
Address for the strip in Huntsville?
Are any still open?
Thanks for the info, guys.

They are sometimes open on the weekends depending on the weather. We generally call them before we go to be sure they are open. They might be closed for the season now, haven't called lately, and their schedule is kinda confusing.

I heard there was a Dyno tuning shop in Montgomery and they were better and cheaper than the one in tuscaloosa. Let me know if you can find one, i'm looking into getting my car dyno tuned as well. I'm in Enterprise just west of dothan. Let me know if you find one! Good luck bud!
