I saw a clean asSs silver Z in Newnan yesterday. Slammed on powdercoated 00+ Z wheels, Stock lip kit, tinted tails, blacked 00+ heads and corners.....
....pretty clean, too clean to be a non-jbo car at one point or another.....

yeah, used s/c kit = missing parts. inexperance = long days, late nights, and pist off wifes. bolt drop down in the block next to the timing chain on a ecotec = big booboo.
i learned a sh!t load in doing this that's for sure

removed valve cover, intake manifold, header, fuel rail and injecters
stock cam gears
in this picture, fat fingers is taking out the bolt that later fell down in the timing chain area( hopfuly all the way down to the oil pan)

this car needs some head
adjustible cam gears installed after install the P&P head and stage 2 cams
new head
that's me hacking up the double ribbed belt. one rib had to be cut off
this is pretty buch as far as we got. we put the valve cover on, new injectors, spark plug, some eletrical stuff

This is very entertaining....
That is a lot more work than what I was thinking you were doing. Looks good so far, but you better find that bolt.
this is how hugo's car sits as of 7:00 pm. he managed to get engine remounted and secure so it can trailered back home so he can finish up. but it wouldn't go on the trailor because the trailor was too high and the car too low
. he's gonna return tomorrow with a dolly.
this project has had tons of speed bumps. besides the ones listed about there was : one the way to meet me hugo got pulled over, had handcuffs slapped on him, sat in the back of a cop car for 45 minutes just for the cops to find out that they had the wrong guy; we had one bolt in the kit when 4 was needed; and a lady slammed into the side of the truck that was towing the trailor on the way to get the car!!!! THIS IS NUTSSSS
