Any one have an interest in starting a car club for central Florida? I've been thinking about it a little lately and would work out quite nice being as I have an abundance of space on my web server and graphic artists at my disposal. So we would have the website/logo whatever already taken care of.

well its been tried before and did not seem to work well from what i can remember i too thought about starting one with making tshirts and banners for cars as well as business cards too with a logo and everything

Just some ideas for you. I have been around this scene for a while and seen clubs come and go, also tried to do clubs as well. Truly I do not think there is a number (1,2,3, 10) set to be a club. To me it is more about the group of people. Having 10 cars in your group is one thing, but if no one does anything together, or get along what's the purpose? Also are you tlaking about a J only club? I would not suggest it. We have the ORG, or even the Florida J mailing list for that. When you try and make a club out of one type of car then you make it really hard on yourself.

I wouldnt want it to be just J's but thats just my opinion. IDK maybe some of us from the Ocala meet should talk about it at the next meet.

hey im in i live in Kissimmee... if you wanted to know p. I myself have been looking for a car club to join, but have had no luck ive been thinking if i ever had the chance to join one called agenst all odds, but hard to join when u dont know where to go. also their is a club that meets like every week or ever 2 weeks infront of the K-mart here next to the old hooters, havent stoped in to check whats up but... just putting the word out their if u are interested in taking me? Whats the name of the club... jw thanks again!!!

Not sure on the name yet, this was just an idea but if people are really interested we can start moving forward on a name. I would also think we would need a small list of rules and qualifiers for the club.

I ended up joining this one club here in Daytona, Wild-N-Crazy Customz, just so i could have a local club around, working pretty good, because we go to a LOT of shows in Orlando.........

I think that whoever is serious about getting a club together should meet up and discuss everything. We're only going to be able to do so much over the .Org and being in person can really help things.
Who's coming to the Ocala meet this Saturday. If anyone's interested I was thinking about having everyone over to my place before the meet and grilling out or something. I have a pretty big yard and could fit everyone with no probs.
