ok guys.... this is it.. the winter florida meet will be on friday and sat. november 18th and 19...
On
friday night November 18th we will all go to the track which is Bradenton Motorsports Park... they have club 1320 which is heads up stret style racing.. apparently you can buy the time slips for $1. other then that there are no slips.... it goes from 8pm till 1am.
On
sat. afternoon November 19th we will have a picnic/bbq at Fred Howard Park... jsut as planned before... we will have food drinks and if you have one you can ride jet skis or what not... the park is on the gulf of mexico...
any questions post them here..

well as far as hotels i dont think we will be able to get a discount because its the week before thanksgiving. so your best bet would be to look up some online and jsut call and reserve.. and maybe come on here and post your rate you got taht way others can see what you got.... if you search look for a hotel close to the intersection of Racetrack Rd and Tampa Rd.... or the intersection of Racetrack Rd and Hillsbrough Ave.... its actually the same intersection. the reason i say look there is its easy to get to form the interstate, its also right near the Cracker Barrel resturant that we will meet at on sat morning before we go to the park. so that is your best bet. i knwo they just built a bunch of new hotels there i think like 3-4 and there all nice and new.. so it shouldnt be hard to find one.....
i could prob have a person or two at my place if need be (if that is keeping you from coming)

OK...I'm stupid if I over looked it but I don't think I saw anything. You said there is going to be food at the park? Who is providing the food and is there going to be a charge for this food.... my 2 cents....check prices before to come up with a cost, when I did the 3rd annual meet I had to do an extra $40 out of pocket but luckily got that back day of show.

as for the food, asking people to bring stuff is a bad idea. you're going to end up with 12 bottles of coke, 9 bottles of sprite, and a 6 hamburger buns. and as for hotels, in the past i noticed most people only come for the day anyway, so if you want a hotel, just google a hotel in the area and you should have no problems finding one
