i live in tilbury ontario.. near windsor. wondering if anyone local knows a really good brand of primer? my dads painting my car (dont worry, hes experienced and knows what hes doing)
we fixed some rust like 6 months ago. but under the gas cap is it was totally rusted through and it was too cold to put body filler on. so he sanded it and put primer on but not even 3 days later there was rust again! i looked up the primer online and yeah.. nothing but bad reviews. so does anyone know a good brand or even a good kind? (some have zinc etc.)

there is rust proof primer. i just dont know how well it works

The only way it's rust proof, is if you stop it from rusting behind! Cut the @!#$ out and fix it.

paint over rust and it will come back regardless of what primer it is. rust needs to be removed.
