OEM Solid Mounts, Car Audio, the (Crap, I need money) 99 Cent Blowout Sale!
Sunday, May 31, 2009 3:56 PM
Ok, so maybe I'm being misleading with the 99 cent thing. What I am doing is running all these WONDERFUL (cough) items on eBay with a 99 cent starting price and no reserve. Am I crazy? I'll leave it to you to decide.

Things to keep in mind:
- I'm in Goderich, Ontario, Canada. Keep that in mind when considering shipping and pickup inquiries.
- While eBay has recently banned checks, money orders, and other "non-electronic" payments -- I have not. We can work something out at checkout time.
- The auctions will end shortly after 5:00PM EST on June 7th, 2009

OEM Non-coilover Solid Strut Mounts, 1995-2005 Cavalier/Sunfire, Set of Four
This is a new set of OEM strut mounts for 1995-05 J-bodies, designed for Non-Coilover-type suspensions. (Including stock and stock replacement struts/springs, Tokico D-Spec Struts, etc). These are a product of Overkill Engineering Motorsports. They are brand new, never installed. Natural metal finish.
Product page for front mounts: "J-BODY Solid Mounts- These are solid front mounts that are meant for the true performance enthusiast. They feature a spherical bearing straight from QA1 racing catalog. The factory rubber bushings are fair at best, once you start adding suspension components to stiffen the ride the rubber gives out and goes bad. These mounts will not only outlast your factory rubber bushings, but they will keep your car planted to the ground, for better handling."
For the rear mounts: "Rear pillow strut mounts. Replace old worn out factory mounts with this solid unit from OEM."

200 AMP High-output Alternator for 1996-97-98 2.2L Cavalier, Sunfire (Non-Ecotec)
This is a used high-output alternator that was provided to me by Motor City Reman (See their product page). It is based on the Delco CS130D Series, and replaces Delco 10480076, 10480289. This corresponds to 2.2L 1996-98 Cavaliers and Sunfires, and may also be compatible with other applications. I have been using this alternator for about a year and have been very pleased. I am scaling back on my car audio, and no longer need it. It includes two different undersized pulleys (1-3/4" and 2"), which can be used to ensure consistent output at idle. The pulleys have an extra groove, but work fine with our belts.

Kicker ZR-360 2-Channel Amplifier
You don't need to go far to hear positive reviews on this legendary amp. I have witnessed what many have said, which is that this model is brutally underrated. This unit has been happily pushing a pair of 12" subs for the past year, and would like it to find a new home.
I original purchased this unit used, and do not have the end-caps or the "birth sheet". You get the bare amplifier, and the ZRX crossover module which features low pass (subwoofer), high pass (tweeter), and passthrough modes.
It has some paint chips and general wear and tear. The gain adjustment knob is a bit chewed on the end, but is still completely usable with some patience or some needle nose pliers.

A Pair of two 12" Alpine SWS-1223D Subwoofers
These have been used for about a year together in a sealed enclosure. The cones are pristine, and they still thump like new. The back of the magnets show the slightest surface corrosion from dampness, barely visible in the pictures.
Dual 2-ohm voice coils give you a variety of impedance options to match you amplifier. I've included two original shunts, two homemade shunts, and one set of original instructions and paperwork. The boxes still show the original $250 pricetags.
- 12" subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils
- pulp/glass fiber cone reinforced with Kevlar
- Santoprene rubber surround
- power range: 50-300 watts RMS (150 watts per coil)
- peak power handling: 900 watts
- frequency response: 27-700 Hz
- sensitivity: 86 dB
- top-mount depth: 5-1/16"
- sealed box volume: 0.85-1.5 cubic feet
- ported box volume: 1.25-2.0 cubic feet

4 Gauge Amplifier Power Wiring and Fuse (Used)
The wire itself is "Bassworx" branded. This was used in my Cavalier for a trunk installation and had a couple of feet of wire to spare, and depending on your vehicle should at least reach the trunk area. It includes approximately 13 feet of power cable, just over 2 feet of ground cable, and an brand new AGU fuse holder with a 60 AMP fuse included. All of the terminating ends have crimped loop connectors which worked with the leads on a capacitor, which may not all be required for your application.

Stinger 1-Farad Car Audio Capacitor
Used Capacitor. This is a 1 farad unit, model SSCAP1. It has been part of my car audio system for the past year. It includes a clear plastic mounting bracket. It has a finger-sized dent on the underside, shown in the pictures. I'm honestly not sure how well this capacitor is working -- it seems to hold a charge, though I did not see much improvement with it installed. As such, consider it an AS IS part.

MTX Power Distribution Block
I think this has been long-since discontinued. This particular unit has 2 connectors for 4-gauge wire (at each end), and 4 connectors for 8 gauge wire (in the middle). It was really handy for doing two runs of 4-gauge from the battery, which can be easier to route than one run of heavier cable. The entry points all feature hex-nut style clamps. The conductor is brass with gold plating, and is protected with an attractive clear plastic shell.

Dual 12" prefab sealed box
Pretty sure it was
a Q-Logic box like Crutchfield sells. Used about a year, has some self-tapping screw holes but nothing destructive. Fits decently in a J-body trunk without a lot of hassle. I bleached the inside of the left partition to deal with a bit of mildew. Comes with a couple of nice metal grill covers so you can still throw groceries in what's left of the trunk.

I'm not auctioning this one because of shipping hassles. Pick up only, might consider shipping in Canada. Was thinking $40 including grills.

Damn I hate typing these long posts. Enjoy!
