i have a 2000 z24. with stock bumper on it. i purchased the 2000-2002 gm front lip used painted it to match my car. when installing it i found that the middle of the lip bolted up to the existing bumper alright but when it came to the sides... there was only one pre-drilled hole on the lip. once i put a screw through the plastic it didnt grab anything snug enough. any tips? or if anyone knows how to do it properly and could show me it would be more than welcomed thanks!
how much did the front lip cost you?? i am looking to get one for my 01 cavalier
U-type speed nuts like the splash guards use.
Either what joe said, or you could use bolts and washers..
Joe's suggestion is better, but if you cant find them, bolts and washers work great as well...
paid 100 bucks for it used. mint condition. it was silver i sanded it and colour matched it to my car metallic gold.
Do you happen to have any pictures of the lip off the bumper? I want to see exactly how its mounted up.
