Do you have to do anything with the minestry or other authorities after doing the conversion to drive the car on the street without getting tickets or it pulled off the road by the cops?

Well that makes sense...but by merely looking at it, rather than take actual measurements (a bit chilly to bust out the tape measure) the bolt locations don't really look all that different, they appear evenly spaced.

Perhaps because I have been messing around with mine lately, I noticed the different bolt locations, I didn't mean any disrespect
