ih guys this year i have to drive my winter beater for the summer and im looking for cheap used lowering springs or coilovers for my 97 cavie thanks and i dont really want to spend that much because it is my winter beater thanx and i hope some 1 can help
Why bother, if the car's just a beater? You're not going to improve the ride or the handling by doing this on the cheap.
winter beater and lowering springs....
Sarcasm?
Irony?
Stupidity?
DuH?
Pro kit is the cheapest option...and since its a winter car its also the littlest drop...which is what you need...keep that 4x4 for 4x4'ing

i had my last cavie droped 4 inches and drove it all year round and it was better than this 1 was last year so im gonna drop it a bit and hope for the best so can any 1 help or what
Canuck Motorsport springs
^--- cheap springs. I had them in my 98 cav, the struts were toast fairly quickly and it rode like @!#$ =)
your better off taking tat money and investing it in good snow tires or a winter driving school. a lower center of gravity should not help with driving in the winter. maybe having it lowered 4 inches you were plowing so much that you couldnt get up to a good enough speed...

It's flat-out impossible to lower these cars 4" and have then ride well.
That said... good luck with whatever you decide. I'm pretty sure that no advice I have to give is going to be of any benefit here.
1 i have 4 snow tires and to i never said i want it to ride good i just asked if any 1 had a cheap set of used springs
