Hey all I have a 97 sunfire 2.2 L that needs a clutch replaced. I am going to buy an Exedy OE clutch, just wondering if anyone would come here to Woodstock, about 20 minutes from London to install it for me. I have jacks, wheel ramps, mastercraft socket sets, should have all the tools needed to do it, someone looking to make 100$ or so? It wont be for at least a few weeks until snow melts.
Tell yah what, I'm a licensed Class A. I will do it for you, but I charge $50 an hour, job pays 6.2.

Awesome but I know a Class A mechanic that is willing for 250. But I still dont want to pay that much really. Ill buy it I just need someone to install it cheap.
Thats not going to happen. Its a big enough job to do. So your gunna have to pay.

yeah, 100$ to install a clutch? that is a big job, good luck finding someone for that price.

So you want some one to go out of their way, drive to woodstock using his own gas, spend 6 or so hours doing a clutch for you, then drive all the way back to wherever they came from and you only wanna give them $100?
I've heard of cheap before, but this takes the cake.
Just to let you know, I normally charge $400 to do a clutch/flywheel, and I do it at my place...

Well, you pay for what you get, and my time is worth, like I said, $110 an hour. Doing it for $50 an hour is quite a deal, especially driving, bringing the PROPER tools to do the job etc...
