Hey guys, I know this is not exactly my region however nobody posts in the alberta/sask one so I'm trying to throw this out to you guys to see if I can get some help..... I'm trying to locate a drivers side fender gt or non-gt in indigo blue for a sunfire..... if anyone locates one I would definitely reimburse in full for cost of fender + cost of shipping the fender + compensation for time...

The wait around here to get anything painted is 4-5 months for non-insurance stuff... right now for the time being I got a fender from a wreckers and painted it myself (just flat indigo blue)... plus it would most likely be cheaper to ship one in from elsewhere... they want around 350-400 to do a fender got to love the alberta advantage

Hit up Ebay, there's a company who sells them new, they'll even paint it the stock colour you want for a nominal fee. Last I checked it was something like 400 for a new fender painted and shipped to my door.

you can buy a brand new fender from cross canada for $100 unpainted and im sure a body shop would charge much less then 300 to paint it

not here.... labour rates are crazy... for a dealership to paint just the fender it would be minimum 400... I got a quote from a good body shop and I got it down to 320 but that is with me just bringing in the fender itself

If you wanted to I would buy it, paint it then ship it.
$100 For the fender, $75 to paint it and then whatever shipping would be.
I could have it shipped out by early next week.

it's a perfect match... you cannot even tell i wasn't original from my car... it just so happens that the vehicle is the same age and is in the same general shape as my car... same km's etc...... now i'm looking at doing the evil eye mod for the hood but trying to find someone local... i'm pretty sure I could get my girlfriends uncle to do the welding / smoothing so it might be as simple as getting it repainted...
