Just in case it isn't written off, does anyone know a GOOD frame shop and body shop?
Are you sure the frame is bent? Judging from where it hit and how bad, I wouldn't think so...
I'm pretty sure it's bent... In the last picture you can see the whole front end is shifted to the passenger side about 4" reletive to the wheel, the rad support and bumper are pushed back a bit, and the passenger door won't open freely. Tomorrow the insurance people are looking at it to see how bad it is.
Thats just the fender/bumper punched in.

I rolled up the window before I left. There were no injeries, so I am just holding my breath with insurance.
I hope it's just body panels, I find out on monday.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude that sucks!!!! I saw the rear bumper and I thought to myself "damn that thing runs awfully rich", now I know why, didn't recognize your new screen name lol I see a smaller pulley on there
And how are those KDWs for grip, any good?
@!#$ty luck for sure

. Also call up Adjala Auto in Tottenham ontario, I know he has lots of parts laying around and such. AND if my beaterfire is not worth fixing you can scavenge parts from it.
Also note, if you give her up, and want to part it out. AND I HATE to nudge in like this, let me know. BUT I hope it is fixable. and not a writeoff.

Thanks guys,
I will find out for sure on Tuesday what the outcome is, but I have been told to start thinking about another car...
The KDW's are great for a street tire, I was pulling more than a G laterally when I autocrossed on them last year, this year I moved up to R compounds for competition.
Obviosly I really want to fix the car, It is a well sorted very competitive auto-x car, and really just plane fun as hell to drive.
I will keep putting up updates as I get them.
that is really sad to see
plodders in aurora is pretty good from what ive heard. a guy i work with had a tempo fixed there with a frame bent out a few inches. insurance company really wanted to right it off but plodders straitened it right out.

Did the airbag deploy by chance? From what Ive heard thats always a determaining factor cause they're so expensive. It is a shame tho. Ive done business with you and in case anyone doesn't know wheelman he's A++ to deal with.

The airbag did NOT go off....the windshield is still in one piece.
No news yet, It's been just over a week, and I have talked to insurance about all the mods on the car, and am just wating to hear back on the worth of the vehicle, and weather they will fix it or write it off.
Absolutemike: The airbags did not go, so that is good news.
Just to but a thought out there, If the car is written off, I would be interested in selling the car as a whole salvaged title as a parts car or such, I am wondering if there would be any interest in that kind of sale. For a list of mods, check my registery.
The only aftermarket parts that I know are damaged are the fenders and side marker lights, the front left suspension looked allright at a glance, but I don't know for sure.

you would have to buy the car back from the insurance company. but you can remove all your aftermarket parts and just throw the stock parts in the trunk if you don't want to buy it back.
