Crappy Tire.

Theyll go over it with a fine tooth comb (because they want to make extra money off of you through repairs).

Make sure you have it certified BEFORE the sale.

Shouldn't matter certification guildlines are set by the gov't arent they not the shop aren't they? When a shop signs off that a vehicle is certified they are liabel for that vehicle for 36 days after the certification (i.e brake failure) Nobody wants to mess with that as they can be on the wrong end of a lawsuit real quick. Generally you will almost always have to buy new brakes and tires and if there is any rust on the brake lines they will have to be replaced.

Like the poster stated above make sure the car is certified BEFORE the sale.
