ok so.. i had a lil problem with my tranny... or so I thought! "
my car isn't shifting gears.. it jus drives on one gear the whole time till i hit 100kms and then it red lines.. (which isn't safe)
Every mechanic who i took my car to.. told me it was a tranny problem and I already changed the tranny 2 times thinking i kept buying a not working tranny.. but it kept giving me the same problem.. so its noting wrong wid the tranny i asuumed...
Until i took my car to a local Mr. trannsmission and made them check it out with the computer and it showed him that there is no power going to my tranny.. (i've never heard of that b4)..
and he explained to me how i should take it to a electrician and or the dealer to check it out..
so i took it to a local electrician who deals with electrical work for cars.. and he explained to me how somting called a Transmission Module is gone back.. SO now.. im stuck... I dunt know how much, or if that is really what its called..
does any1 know neting abbt this? or has had a problem like this? is this part buy able @ a NAPA store? or partsource?

Sounds like the TCM, transmission control module. What year is your car? If I were you, i would start looking at wreckers because they are not cheap.
my car is a 2002 2.2 ecotec....
so is it actually called a tranny control module?
thanks..
