We have a potential 5 or 6 car caravan comming up from the London area next weekend for the parts day, but after phoning them they dont inventory the u-pull yard.
So, anybody close enough they can poke thier head in and see what the stock is like on 2nd gen and 3rd gen j-bodies, and any year p-bodys (fiero's) and let us know?
We REALLY dont want to drive 4 hours each way to find there are none (or only totally picked over) of the cars we are after.

i am always in scarbrough i will try swing by wensday and thursday, but from experience they usally dont got much it get chopped up as they come in
Everytime I've been they're 3rd gen selection sucks.. 2nd gen seems alright, wasn't really looking for them. I'll try and swing in there if I get a chance and get back to ya.

I've rarely spotted a 3rd gen in their UPIC yard. When I do see one, it's usually already stripped down. I've still got a $40 credit from one of their free parts days last summer.

i was going to start a post about the free parts day soon but you guys beat me too it.
the 3rd gen selection is usually only about 6 cars. the u pull section is mainly drive-ins so its what ever shows up that week. the newest 3rd gen ive ever seen out there was a rear ended 2001 cavalier sedan, we wanted the motor and nose section but everything else was there (until i got a hold of it)
but as for the inventory if you guys like i will check it out wed or Thurs when they switch the cars and post it up.
i do know there will be a black 97 sunfire 2.2 hitting the yard soon its been sitting in stripping for a while so it should be there on free day, if that helps any.
anything else you guys want to know just post it up and i will get back to you on it.

What we are looking for mostly is
fiero body panels/nose clips and rockers--both aero style and pointy-nose style.
Fiero interiors.
82-85 S-10/s-15 trucks (for the carbs, manifolds and distributors). Swap out the injection for a carb setup on a 2.8.
Fierbirds and later-model mustangs for the vents/scoops (more body stuff)
J-bodies is interiors. Seats, dashes, kick panels, center consoles.
Possibly a saturn bumper cover.
The one 3rd gen told me yesterday they wont be going since all they need is lower window trim, so the rest of us are all second gen.

theres lots of second gens in there, quite a few are 3.1 Z24's.
the trucks are kind of hit and hiss there once in awhile.
mustangs are pretty common,mostly late 80's stuff.
Saturn's are also pretty easy to come by there, most models up to the late 90's
there is no way there is going to be a ferio out there, ive never even seen one come in, and if one does im on the list for it along with an MR2. if they ever come in.

I saw a 3rd gen cav there last week, the Interior was there but sum nut head must of not known how to properly take the dash out and broke most of the clips off the dash (the vynal padded part) and cracked the door panel..! sO sad! buh.. u know wah....
last summer I got lucky @ standard! I found a 2002 z24.. same as mine.. n I stripped the whole interior soo standard is not a bad place 2 look...
There is another place East of oshawa.. dunno where it is.. buh i heard they do have alot of 3rd genz

i just found out today, that they will allow acess to the frech u-pull cars on free parts day. also they will be letting people at any half cars (ones we chop for the nose section) on that day, so the pickings just got better. i have to go over there and check it out this week i was too busy to go and look today.
