Hey all,
So I want to sell my car. I can't afford to sell it if I can't get enough for it. I'd be open to selling it as is or put it back to stock. The car looks and runs great. I'm a meticulous owner that has taken very good care of it. Here are the details:
2002 Z24, indigo blue, coupe, 5-speed, fully loaded, ground effects kit (front valance not on, it cracked but can be repaired and reinstalled)
Aftermarket parts include: Koni yellows, Eibach Prokit, B&M short shift w/ ATM Trickshift fluid, APC clear corners up front, AEM short ram intake, full hood and nose protector (GM), Hankook HRII "performance all-season" tires, alpine alarm
Other mods are: painted (silver) calipers, all badging has been removed, tinted windows, JVC WMA/MP3 deck (KD-LH910) that also plays SD cards and will upload pictures, Sirius satellite radio (antenna concealed under spoiler) hardwired to deck (no ugly auxiliary tuners), extra mats
All service records are kept. Again, it's high mileage but it's all highway driving and I don't drive like an idiot. This car will continue to last.
Anyway, thoughts on how much I could get? More worth while to part out? I woud not be averse to selling off the aftermarket parts and putting it back to stock if it made more sense.

Car looks extremely clean and would be a good pickup for someone
You didn't actually list the kms on it, you just mentioned about high mileage.

That's weird, I just read this thread yesterday and I could have swore that the kms were listed then.
Anyways....
Paul,
I like your car, but I think that you'll get more money if you part out the aftermarket stuff and then try to sell the car at stock. Hope it works out well for you!

yeah, i could have sworn i wrote the km's as well.....sorry about that.
anyway, it's a whopping 230,000km's. i have a long commute and drive to the states often for work. so very easy highway driving.
thanks for the feedback. still open to more opinions (and any offers?) and if anyone has thoughts on what you think i can get for it....whether it's as is or put back to stock.
thanks again!

with that many kms i doubt you;d fetch more than 3500-4G if that hell my 96 only has 180,000
yikes....i'd need more than that....

Seriously, no matter how much you try to convince people that it's all highway miles... that is a LOT of km's!
well.. if you decide to part it out ... sell me the suspension
heh heh....yeah, it is a LOT of km's. can't do much about it. i'll stop with the sell job. what can i say, they're gentle miles and i'm a meticulous owner. that's what i look for when buying used. but i still can't change what it is.
ah well.
maybe i should figure out what all the parts would get me if i put it back to stock. what would the koni/eibach set fetch me? how did kevin describe it...."the last suspension you'll ever need"?

how long have you had the set up for?
toss me an email, morgancalvert@hotmail.com maybe we can work out a deal that will suit both of us
I'll toss you my stock suspension with the deal... so your not left without suspension when alls said and done haha
anyways, I have MSN too... get back to me
i appreciate the offer. that's probably what i'd look to do once i find a buyer. until then, i'd prefer to keep the car the way i have it set up. i can't go back to stock now, but if that's what a buyer wants, then you'll be the first person i contact. next time i'm in london i can get in touch with you if you want to check it out initially. i'm not putting much effort into selling the car right now....but shoud start doing so soon.
