I've been to 3 different dealerships and none of the people that I spoke to had even heard of GM top engine cleaner. The people at the parts counter all look at me like I'm crazy or something. LOL

I thought that you could only get Seafoam in the States?

My friend bought some Seafoam last week at the Carquest store in Markham for his boat engine so they do carry it. Our local CT store had the same look when I asked them if they carried it.. They had never heard of it.. :-)

Mind if I ask what the reason was you wanted it? Only reason I ask is that I have thought about running something through my car to cure a bit of a rough idle condition my car seems to have once it's warmed up (especially when the car is on a bit of a slant - odd).. Just wondering if I should go Seafoam or try going to the dealer asking for GM Top Engine Cleaner/Cleens. Suggestions? 2.2 non-ecotec.. Already replaced the plugs with the Delco platinum replacements and it didn't help. Car has 94K.
