i just wanted to inform some of you that Nosh Audio in Newmarket will be holding some competitions again this year.
the start date for the first comp is supposed to be May 28th.
the entrance fee is supposed to be $30, or atleast thats what i was told last night.
they are planning on doing about 4 shows. the hope to have some SQ comps, but there should be SPL for sure.
the guy i was talking to is also planning on doing a "league fee". the league fee gets you into all 4 shows, plus a league member only show at the end of the season. there are trophies and product to be had.
he said something about there being 3 different classes, but he coudnt remember all of them off the top of his head.
Class A - (1) 10", (1) 12"
Class B - (2) 10", (2) 12", (1) 15"
Class C - (3) 10", (2) 15"
theres got to be more to the classes than that, but i cant remember where everything he told me falls into.
anyways, im not trying to do a plug for nosh, but i thought i would just let everyone know about the up and comming competitions.
i heard there are one or 2 other places in the area that are planning on having competitions this year too. if i get more info, i'll post up.
im thinking on going to it, just wanted to know if anyone else might attend. maybe we can rep the j-body community and take some good stuff home.

Ohh, and I thought classes went as follows.
Class A = 2 10's or single 12.
Class B = 2 12's or single 15 or 3 10's
Class C = 2 15's +
That is how it was done last year....... NO idea though for this year. Prizes sort of sucked, maybe that will improve.. ALSO inquire if they can hold an SQ class this year. I will definately be in if they do so.

he said that he was planning on having hopefully 2 SQ events but he has to train people what to look for and listen for first.
i think he said alpine has already given him about 6 grand worth of stuff, and the other companies had not got back to him yet. said something about some trophies too, but that might only be for the final league competition.
i'll keep my ears open though and pop my head back in there in a week or 2 and let you know.
anyways, im off now.
