Hey last fall my car was showered with rocks along the perimeter hw..and my front bumper pretty much needs a whole new paint job...now my gf suggested getting some sort of bra to cover up the white dots on my bumper...how much do you think itll cost to get it stock paint redone? couple local paint/body shops said around 500 bucks....bra costs 35 bucks...but looks just as bad as the chipped paint lol

bras look alright... high maintenance though... + most shops around here charge 200 to 250 to repaint front bumpers.

^^ thats a good price 500 is too much for just a front bumper 800 usually does a entire kit

All depnds on the bumper really, I know a 2000-2004 civic bumper costs 280 to 300 to be repianted. Cavy's are pretty simple.

ill see what the bra looks like on my car then if its uglier then the chipped paint ill get it done

First of all you have a nice car so don't take the cheap way out and buy a bra they just look nasty on a done up car. Last summer I had to get quote's on repainting my front bumper and the cheapest I got was 350$, and that was at Winters.

a bra is a good way to @!#$ the paint up even more, 500$ is a decent deal for painting a bumper, but if its filled with rock chips thats a BITCH to prep. take it from a guy thats done his fair share of body/paint work.

yeah but i spent all winter saving up for a header lol..now its either header or paintjob...

I had my rock chipped front bumper painted at a local bodyshop for $150...

really where? was it in winnipeg? cause thast the closest to me.

wow you guys got some cheap deals...down here your looking about $400-$500 for a front bumper...it cost me $1500 to paint my kit
