Looking for 00-02 stock rear bumper preferably in Indigo Blue Colour in Toronto area. Got rearended before Xmas. Need replacement. Thanks.

i know of one. a sedan thats indigo blue that was hit in the front end.

Does anybody know of any fit-up issues if I'm to install rear bumper off of 4 Door Sunfire with built-in reverse lights? Visualy looks interchangeable. Anybody?

the sunfire one will bolt right up. but you will have to wire the reverse lights up to yours.

P.S. cowanville also has an 03 fire that was hit in the front. but its silverish.

SUPERFASSSSTZ: Called them up - no luck with Sunfire rear bumper. As you said only 03 and I needed 01. Have the guy in Burlington quoted brand new primed bumper cover for $200 + tx. Will be ordering tomorrow. Thanks for your help, though.

i will go see them tomrrow. the problem this week is that the boss is on vacation. i usually only deal with him because the other guys are total retards. the 03 cav they told you about. yea the rear bumper on that one is screwed from being moved with a fork lift.

Boorad: Insurance people were about to total the car - $6000 in damages with market value for 2001 2.2 w/ 170K on it - $4600 CDN. I was rearended by F150 at stand still. He pushed me through two cars infront of me and then got stuck between them.... so I had damages all the way from both corners of front bumper and to the back... both sides... Anyhow, made a deal with insurance, kept the car and money value less 10% (scrap value) - no damages to suspension or undercariage, just body work was required. Went back to people I know and they have fixed averything except my Erebuni rear skirt - ran out of insurance money... I needed the stock bumper while I'm making my mind on what to put on, to cover my dual exhaust with 3" x 5" vibrant tips - not every rear bumper cover can accomodate for those... Now I know what I want - it's just the matter of getting it... shipping is REALLY expensive from CA to Toronto - $425 US... what a rip off for a $260 part...!!!! will have to drop ship it to Charlotte and then arrange myself a business trip/ride to our sister company over there...

Everybody: 4 door sunfire bumper cover IS a direct bolt-on for Cavs... ONLY if you have sunfire rear impact absorber installed. I did, eventually, force the bumper cover on mine Cavalier absorber this weekend, but it's a b@#! to do...

Man that sucks, and I understand everyting you are saying, but if you were the one rear ended then you are not at fault and therefore donty have to pay a cent.....unless they clain you still shouldn't have hit the cars in front of you........ohwell
