It it legal to have a nos purge kit in your car?
if you mean a nitrous purge kit then yes you can have it. It is however illegal to drive with a n2o system hooked up while on the street.
If you are talking about a co2 fake purge then that is fine, but completely useless
would be sweet to have it on your car and maybe the scanner like kitt from plasmaglow.

yhe nos purge looks cool not the scanner people on you tube have there cars with the nos purge.
The word your looking for is purge valve.
It is not illegal.
However, you dont want to be purging N20 out of your car in the walmart parking lot lol.
If a cop see's you and knows what it was, your going to get a ticket.
I've known of people that run with Nitrous hooked up on the street. I've never known them to have any problems. But those people arn't idiots and dont have the bottles where they are visible.
I do agree that purge valves do look cool, but if your purging driving down the street you will look like a tard.
Dont do it for looks, do it for functionality on a drag car.
