Why do I have black water coming from my muffler when i start my car?
Condensation. Hot exhaust cools down faster with the colder temperature causing water to build up inside the exhaust. Comes out of course when u start the car!
so its fine then? Would like to get new mufflers pretty rusted
If you let it warm up to operating temp, it will get all the condensation out of it and you won't have to worry about your exhaust rusting from the inside out

i was looking under to see where the leak was coming from and the muffler strap broke off cause it was so rusted.
my muffler strap did the same thing, so i walked into the parts store and said "i need a new muffler belt." the guy looked at me funny then pointed to the hairdressers across the street and told me i could find one there hahaha
