I am getting a Quad 4 H.O. out of a 93 Grand Am from the scrap yard next week and I am probly just going to use the head/valvetrain.

Anyone interested in the other parts assuming its all good? I can also get the 5spd from the car if anyone is interested. Let me know what you want, throw me an offer.

IF I WERE doing a Turbo cav (again...) I would run a 2.3 over a 2.4 for its reving ability, and Mine was built for NA, it did not like pushing over 12Lbs...



Keep the 2.3 Talk to Karo, Or if you want, I can as I do every now and again, (he's at a dodgers game now) and get some Nice 8.5:1 pistions. with stock 93 up 2.3 rods, there the same as 92 and older Rocket Parts rods.


make some +X -X cam gears...and presto! RELIABLE 12 sec cav.

And take away some timing before you do though, and get a better fuel pump.

what is there to update besides the fact that it has no motor in it right now? And I got the quad from a scrap yard for the parts. and Im building a 2.4 because I already have the parts for it. I dont have the money to switch projects...

And it is still supercharged with the one of six crank pulleys?

If the 2.3 ran, just throw it in, as is. it will run, just redo the tables. it should be in the 14's with a stock LG0.
the injectors for a HO are 28#
