Ok after removing everything else this morning this is what I have. 5spd trans out of a 98, 52000 on it, clutch and pressure plate are good. Clutch pedal, shifter with cables and knob. 1 cable will need to be replaced. Manual axles. You can also have the manual trans mount that the previous owner fabbed up, its nothing fancy but it did the job. I'll get that out this weekend. I believe thats everything I have, previous owner did not change harness so the auto one is still in the car. Looking to get 500 for everything just to offset what I already have stuck into auto parts or considering trades.

new with Cavs, what part numbers am I looking for to find out if its an isuzu? It is for a 2.4 though.

If thats a 1998 tranny... then it's an izuzu.... but I just looked up where you live and I'de be better off to hit up a salvage yard locally than drive way out there.....
I looked up all those numbers and didn't get anything.... chances are... it's an Izuzu... but some people go with getrags or muncies when the do a swap like that... so I don't know for certain.

Although a 150 mile drive might be worth it....... but we'd need to make damn sure thats an Izuzu first....
If your intersted in driving that far (ill look it up to find the actual milage to find out for sure) take a couple of pics of just the tranny from a couple of different angles... so we can see if anyone on this site can regonize it by the pics.... I can also go to the GM dealership with those numbers and see if they can tell me anything.
Although I've been under my car hundreds of times.... I don't know how to tell an Izuzu from a getrag just by looking at it. To bad your car didn't have the manual tranny stock.
it must be an Izuzu, thats not the shifter or shifter cables that a Getrag uses

I can handle the drive to Tomah to help out a fellow Jbody. I was just up that way this morning to pick up a nitrous kit. We would just have to work out a weekend that works for both of us.
