Im thinking about buying a 96 2.2 5speed manual, but i can get my hands on a 2.4 motor for a good price
How hard would it be to swap? Would the trans bolt up?
Also, should i be skeptical about how many miles are are the 2.4? Im kinda thinking anything around 97k would need a a top rebuild.

hahah dnt worry about the top end. Look at the bottom. Me and two other guys i kno with the LD9 blew our #3 rod bearing. And i have a block and a shaved head. But the block spun the rod bearing. And blew the rings...other wise i have only found them for over a grand..
