So, I have to get pics and all, but Im selling two Z's I have, the first one is my 95, has a built W41 in it, and a NVG trans.
The second is my wife's 00 Z, engine was rebuilt less then 10K ago, has 40K on the trans, and a new LUK clutch.

Would like Two Grand each.

Jr, for 2 grand you can have the W41, AND them big nasty cams with the car, hell, for 2700 ill throw in the TG turbo manie wast gate and the T304E. (along with a 2 bar tune EEPROM and all tuning hard wear I have.)

***after thought... 3200 and you (anyone) gets all my parts for the turbo set up, W\G, Turbo, T\G manie, 3" Engine back Ext, D/P....2 bar sens... all my tuning software\ Hardware......450/232-.430/232 LG0\W41 cams.... and A LOT of other Quad-4 crap i have laying around.

hhmm, ill be waiting for the pics of the 00 and the 99. i wouldn't mind picking up another Z.

This weekend I'm putting a new trans in the 99, I will throw a new Disc in for safe measure.

that works, anymore details about the cars?

The '00 got the lower end redone with a Melling pump around 10K ago, has 60k on the trans, with a new Luk clutch set. Wife drive it to school every day. Dented up like no other.

The '99.... Just got it, the only thing I know is that its a loaded Z, and I have to put a trans in it. Its clean though.


The parts should speek for them selves. the .455 cams make W41 cams look small, like Ho cams make LD9 cams look, If you get my drift.

I do, a 92 with no engine or trans, the car is mint, has new breaks (everything) and a new Rad, new Shifter cables..No Engine, No Trans. has 95-99 Z24 wheels on it now. (no, the GTZ rims will not go with it.)
Would like to get 750 for it, as that is whats in it.

The cams are old school Manta Parts Grinds. The Intake specs out to be .450 and the exhaust come out to just over .430, Going off there web site, there around 232-240* Duration.
I ran them in my GTZ once, could not tune it so after 150 or so miles I ripped them out. The cams still have machining marks on them, I would say there New.


Tom, The White one is still there, 99 PCM can be flashed to your liking....

Still have the cams? Any idea what RPM range the power band should be? Interested in them for my LD9 build, but I am afraid they might be too big.

Unless its balanced well, they may be... also on the head, Volume VS Velocity and all.

But from what I could tell on a 2.3 ( the 2.4's make the power lower for some reason with the same cams) the power was from around 4700-7800 or so.
on a Un-tuned 2.3 HO.

But yes, I still have them

I was actually going to ask you in a month or so if you were willing to part with the cams b/c your the only one I know of who has this grind who might have been willing to let them go.

They will be in a fully built and balanced motor. Going to get a motor this summer and start chipping away at it the rest of the year. Spreading the cost out through this fall / winter. My general take is the 2.3 cams make power higher (200-400 rpm) when in a 2.4L. Example, peps running HO cams at 7000-7200 rpm. Don't they cut off around 6800 on a stock HO? I could be totally wrong and I don't have examples at the ready but that's the general impression I have gotten around here.
