i was just thinking the same thing.

to many new cars out since the last year of the cav. gm moved on. and it seems people have 2.

I haven't totally moved on. Still have the cav and am going to supercharge it again. Although I did buy a new bike which is where most of my money is focused now. The cav turned out to be a bottomless pit where I will never get any of my money back. At least with the bike, it will hold its value.

I havnt moved on either. I'm still slowly fixing and building my car and will be until its either done or I can't get parts for it anymore. Although I have noticed a lot of people leaving in the last couple of years.
I might be selling my cavi pretty soon or trading it for a new cobalt ss. Its time to move on

I've been out for awhile. i've been looking for another one, and i really want another one, but only for racing purposes. not street driven at all. But right now I still need to get through school and get out of my parents house, so it might be later before I can afford to get a real race car

But I am plannin on still keeping the sunfire around for a winter beater, so I don't plan on leaving any time soon

Most people get the priorities straightened out and don't want to blow all their money on a dead platform.
I was considering a older z24 for a project but decided I will wait till I can find a nice srt 4 or something of that nature while keeping my G6.
I'm too far to trade projects. Besides, I love my J's too much to trade them in or start over....

I'm still here.......just have alot goin on, and am almost done with my car, just a few things left to get together. Not to mention I just bought a house so I have alot goin on there and more of my money is goin there right now
I'll still be around don't really know alot of people on here anymore though.....

anything you mod becomes a bottomless pit because you put 1k miles on it a year after dumping money into it then selling out of it. you need to just drive your g6 and not mod anything till you win the lottery lol
im not talking about modding your g6 im talking about buying anything and modding it....btw i meant that with all my heart ken lol

As for me, I just got into the "J" platform not too long ago. I bought my sunfire for a cheap beater, then discovered this site. After that I discovered myself putting money into it and getting ideas for it. you know how that goes. I will not be getting out of J's for awhile or until I can atleast make something of teh sunfire.

The difference is is that 6-7 years ago...cavaliers and sunfires were still in production. Yeah there's cobalts ...but really they just haven't been as popular as the cavy was. I remember I used to see cavaliers EVVVVerywhere.
My cav was sold last summer....and can honestly say I don't miss it one bit! ...Loving the G :-)
I sold my cav and I'm with Lance I don't miss it one bit... I have moved on and priorities came into play... i still check in on the forums often though
