2.4TC LD9 for sale, Eco Parts, Other Parts MUST GO
Thursday, August 07, 2008 10:49 AM
ALL PRICES NOW NEGOTIOABLE
i really just need to get rid of alot of this stuff, so make me an offer, no reasonable offer will be refused
YOU will be responsible for shipping/pickup, so........ yeah. please, lemme know what you need by callin the number listed below... and here
507-995-4474

full engine, currently disassembled so it would be easier to remove.

99,xxx miles (i was told milage was not correct, as the dealership told me the motor had been replaced a few years ago, and i dont trust the guy... ODO said 112,xxx)
runs great, took it out cause the tranny went and am now doing the ECO swap

Engine comes with the harness and ECU and broken Getrag 5 speed (might just need a rebuild, details below)
axles can also be included, if needed
i am willing to sell the axles and bad transmission seperately, and will possibly part out the rest of the motor, depending on what you need
engine comes with the A/C bits
this sale does NOT NOT NOT included the exhaust manifold or mounts (upper could possibly be included if i can get more information about the too-small looking eco upper mount...)
included with the motor is the fluid resivior for the 2.4TC, as i have the new ECOtec one, and i think this is needed for the swap, since the old plug doesnt quite match up..... maybe. engine does include a clutch which was functioning great until the tranny went. dont know if its aftermarket or stock, but it does NOT feel like a stock clutch. it was on the car when i got it.

also, i have an ECOtec exhaust manifold ($25 obo), ECO Exhaust manifold cover ($5 obo, or with manifold) an ECO auto transmission ($400), ECO torque converter (make an offer... $25 maybe? i cannot figure out how much its worth)

and the 2.4TC axles can be had in GREAT condition for $30 (firm)... need tranny-end CV boots

horn ($5)
damaged headliner ($5)
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=P1000692.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/P1000692.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
radiator cover (from a 2000 z24) ($5)
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=P1000674.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/P1000674.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
windsheild washer fluid container thing with pump/solenoid (make offer)
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=P1000682.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/P1000682.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
rear seat belts ($15 obo)
loudspeaker thing ($5) (came off an aftermarket alarm)
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=P1000690.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/P1000690.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
broken dash front and left dash end w/cig lighter, vent thing, light dimmer and LED($10 obo)
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=interiorbits.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/interiorbits.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Airbag computer thing ($5 obo)

I also have two or three of the little plastic vents i can let go for a dollar each

the only thing about this engine is most of the little bolts that go to the parts are lost or broken, and need to be replaced, which is why im letting the whole engine ($596)/bad tranny ($25?)/ecu($50)/harness($100)/axles($40 each)/clutch (stock, $300ish) go for $500 (FIRM), when its valued at around $800-$900+ to pick all this stuff up from junkyards in my area, and i need money to finish my ecotec swap.

(the transmission seems to have a broken part on the linkages inside the transmission. even with teh linkages attached, the shifter could move almost completly freely, and go in complete circles, as if the linkage was broken. i checked my shift linkages, and they are still good, so it must be something INSIDE the transmission. since i have neither the tool, nor the skills to fix this, i am going to throw it in basically free with the engine to whoever buys this)

in an effort to sound like a bad used car salesman, this is an offer that cannot be passed up. i am letting this go cheap, as if my car isnt running soon, its getting junked by the owner of the garage its in, and im still making payments on it... not good lol. pictures are avalible upon request for each and every part, along with pictures of the motor from different angles, and anything alse you might want a picture of (me, my car, a zebra, ect.)

i am located in southern minnesota, and will let you pick up (bring and engine hoist/some strong friends, i dont have one), and if this is to be shipped, YOU are responsible for all shipping and shipping costs.

for information, please call 507-995-4474 and LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. i don not always answer, so leave your name and number and speak clearly (you'd be supprised how mumbly people can be) and i WILL call you back within three hours of you calling me. call between 11am and 10 pm, please, and ill call you back soon after. if you want to call outside of those times, thats ok, but i wont call you back til the next morning.

and for some reason, i painted this...
<a href="http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/?action=view¤t=P1000684.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q253/delldune/P1000684.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
(and yes, im well aware that this might be the most unproffesional way to present a sale. i dont care. =])

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
