If Team Green were to produce a short throw shifter, what would you be willing to pay?

A 95-99 shifter may do some good... since no one makes them any more.

There isn't anything wrong with B&M. The only problem is that they don't make anything for us 95-99 guys.

If Team Green needs a prototype tester let me know! I would be willing to help get this going.

if team green makes a short shifter they should thread the shaft for use with a better knob, the 95-99 style shifter suck for their use with the stock shift knob, id love to have a b&m knob on my shifter vs. the cheap thing that i dont even have bolted down right now cuz i dont have the crappy stock one to put on it.

and if the shifter was quality, im sure people would pay prices similar to that of the b&m, but for reference i have a b&m, the quality and or lack of sloppyness of the part that connects the bottom of the shaft to the cable compared to that of the ebay shifter i have layin under the bed is actually better in the ebay shifter, the b&m was loose and i had to fit a washer in between it to tighten it up.

well, the 00-04 is no problem, i had one in my 02 for 2 years. I liked it, going with what Brian, and Tom have done, making things you guys want, and at a good price too, i will have it all mocked up, with measurements showing just how much shorter it is, and how it looks.

keep the ideas\wants coming!

i don't think i have a 95-99 shifter assy out anywhere, but i suppose i could use my 95 as a mock up car.

Good luck man....

We need to find the Die to thread the shifter arm so you can use the b and m knob or something equivalent.

I have a former Team Green car so I would only find it right to have Team Green parts...

That car is f!@#ing great...a few slight issues, but what used car doesn't have issues right?

I had a guy in an RX8 talking a bunch of smack untill he looked under the hood and the trunk...didn't say much after that... Then again he claimed his car does 5sec in the 1/4..LMFAO!

Now you need a wideband and use HPT to get the fuel spot on.

Re: Local "feeler"

yeah, chris left the wideband gauge in there but I don't think anything else is there for it...

and this is coming from a guy who is learning remember...HPT?

Are you guys planning on making it for the 95-99 guys or the 00-05 cars? I think it would be pretty sweet to make it for the 95-99 cars since B&M stopped making them for us. We really don't have anyone else to go to except that wonderful e-bay stuff.

it DOES NOT HAVE A WIDE BAND, like i said, its a narrow band, and is NOT hooked up.

but it does have the prototype short throw in it, cant tell by looking can ya

as soon as i get started, i WILL be doing it for all 95-05 GM J cars.

I might have a couple 95-99 shifters (2 different styles, 95/96 and 97-99) laying around. I started working on a STS for the drag car a couple years back, and ended up just picking up a B&M shifter for it. Next time you stop over Chris, we'll have to look for the parts.
