Well it's kinda late, but who is going to Rock Falls for the final sport compact race on Sunday? I plan on going again, but am unsure on if I am going to be racing.
maybe after i get my tattoo at noon on sunday ill call up gary and see whats going on. might head down there
idk i might go too, but i prob wont be running, dont have anything new thats worth racin... unless i get them sticks in on friday, but i still wont be tuned so idk. also im still leakin tranny fluid, really need to pull the motor and tranny and rip the trans apart and re-seal it... i want to go soooo bad tho, im still dissapointed in my times, i need to go faster
oh ps if anyone didnt hear yet, the vids we took at rock, i have some but all the eliminations got taped over
im straight pissed. but my cable internet is down and im on dial up atm, so no upploading them for me anytime soon, fastest i have on tape is my 14.8 and it wasnt the best filming ive ever seen...

mm...the 88 has the new injectors and tune loaded....still clutch problem though.......
Crap... I really wan't to go but I just can't justify racing at a track with my tranny the way it is... plus I would have to use a personal day to get off of work..
Maybee this spring after I do all the needed tranny work..

I might be going, I got my hoosier slicks last week, I would really like to hit the 13 mark. I might just wait and go to the bonanza races on the 21st tho, alot less cars

Hey Josh... your so close to breaking into the 13's now that if your new slicks work at all, you should be there no problem. Your pretty much driving a mid to high 13 second car with low 14 second tires. When you finally take it to the strip with the slicks on... post the numbers so we can see the difference that they make.
Alright well I am heading down there. Dunno if still if I am gonna race or not. Hopefully somebody else will be coming out there!
Well just got back from the track. Not a lot of cars out there. I ran a consistant 15.8 all day with 2.2 60' times. Best run was a 15.75. The heat was definately played a huge factor. Since there was so little cars there they are going to have another sport compact day on the 21st. Which is nice cause now I might be able to go again!

i ran my best of 14.747 at 97mph..could not get traction at all today, and heat def. played a huge roll. at the end of the day couldn't do better than a 14.8
ya sept 15 was amazing, we had perfect weather there, hopefully i can get done what i need to before the 21st and get out there again.

What car where you in? I didn't see any other J's out there. There was a Cobalt SS, a Redline, and a couple cars with Quad motors.

Ill be out on the 21st, I just didn't really want to waste the money, I knew it was going to be hot out and you should know that our blowers hate this kind of weather.

I got the slicks now so im excited for the 21st, Im bringing axles with so im going to go all out, if i brake an axle i will have extras to put it quick, and if they brake, i got a buddy with a trailer to tow me home. 13's should be coming
, Im going to launch at 3000 instead of the normal 1500

I would figure your clutch would slip before you popped any axles.... or have you fixed that problem yet.

Yeah i was in the silver redline..
josh, heat did play a huge factor but i was surprised i was running the same times that i did at BIR but with crappier 60 fts..
the next time i run, i will have a tune and meth, and thats probably it
