v6 4.3L has sum powa...if it was 4cyl id swap it or boost it...cuz not enough in it heh.
All Extreme S-10s are 4-cylinders stock. There slow as a turtle, but are one of the better looking mid-size trucks out there. I always wanted to buy a 4.3 powered S-10, hop it up, and make it look like an extreme for that reason. The truck looks clean man.... what year is it? 5-grand doesn't sound that cheap to me.^^^

Thanks, I was pretty sure they came with either engine...Yeah, the V6 has much more power

There's nothing more I hate than people giving out false info. The "Xtreme" came with the 4.3l optional just as any S-10 did. Basically a ZQ8 package with a bodykit.
Educate yourself, for your sake.
$5,000 seems like a good price, S-10's around here are way overpriced, and being a GM vehicle they book out decent used. I looked a black '02 with the ZQ8 package, 110,000 miles, and they were asking $8,000 for it!

yea you usualy end up paying quite a bit for a xtreme, and for the nawceness of my vehicle, i figure 5k with 70,000 on it..is bare cheap....! i spent around 3 months+lookin for vehicles.....when i had the possibility of buying stuff and around another month or 2 before getting the option to spend money....im hopin to look at smoken my taillights tonight.

My bad... It's just that I've been told by a few people that own them that they where all 4 cylinders. I was just going by what I was told and figured they would know since they owned them... but I guess they where wrong. I've also been told that Extreme's only came in 2wd but that could be wrong too
I do know that every one I've ever seen in my life was a 4 -cylinder though.. so the V-6's must not be all that common around here.
