so according to that i could call the police about anyone in rockford playing loud music (even if their not) and they impound the car and make the person pay the fines regardless....

What you know about Street Racing anyways? Only what Fast & Furious taught us....
SO EVERYTHING!
I was just thinking that. It sounds like you could just call the cops on anyone and their car automatically gets towed. What a dumbass law.
Hey guys...... they have basicallly the same laws for car stereos that we have in MN, exept for the seizure thing.
I looked up all the noise ordinance laws when I got my exaust ticket. This crap is getting out of hand. Someday we won't be able to drive anything but a completely stock Ford Taurus without getting arrested. This kind of crap makes me sick (in a discusted way).
You would think so but if the windows are down and stock stereo is up you could hear it from 75 feet away....
thats stupid!
yes, lets make retarded ordinances about things that dont even matter, but lets not actually fix some of the problems... its those damn car stereos... they cause all the problems, lets seize them!
rofl.. take that to the supreme court and see how long their "hearsay" evidence holds up.
i can see some problems arising here, people getting shot... officer down.... yea..
i would think that violates some rights..

^^^^^^ If cops would stick to the "serve and protect" thing, and would remember that they are just supposed to enforce the law when needed, and THEY are not the law, life would be so much easier.
Cops are suppose to be there for our benefit....... <-- yea I know, when was the last time a cop actually Helped you.
There's the letter of the law, than there's the spirit of the law... the later is what should be enforced.
