Well, as it turns out, the door panel between the coupe and convertible is drastically different.
I got a 1993 Cavalier RS convertible for free in trade for some video work. I'm putting it back together for a friend of mine to give to his 17-yr-old daughter, so it sort of needs to be safe and complete, and they kind of want it by the weekend.
So, I've struck out at the junkyards trying to find this door panel.
I need:
Driver's door panel, grey, for a 1993 Cavalier convertible with power windows.
Driver's seatbelt assembly (the part on the door's a bit screwy and the inboard buckle is -missing- )
Front/rear speakers and maybe a tape deck that won't eat cassette adapters
Rear window for black convertible top (we have the glass but it's fallen out of the zip-out piece)
Hubcaps (it's got god-awful Pep Boys "heavy-metal" style ones now)
And I need all this stuff, most especially the door card and seatbelt, by the end of this week.
Madness, yes, but if there's one bunch of guys who can put me on to these parts with a quickness, it's you. If you've got a convertible parts car, or know of a junkyard that actually has one, PLEASE let me know!
