Hey guys
Thursday, May 10, 2007 11:09 AM
Hey, quess what, I'm finally getting a DSL line put into my apartment, the problem is that I still don't have a computer (I'm typing from my brothers). The good news is that I can access the internet from my PS3 whenever thay get the dang thing up (supoosably monday) and assuming I can make my router work with a playstaion reasonably well.

I don't know if anyone else has done this yet or not, but it will be intersting trying to upload stuff, and I won't be able to modify my overly large sig, so I might just have to deleate it.

Anyway, hows everybody, I miss reading people ran't about the things that I'm constantly telling my pickup driving co-workers, when they say there silverado can smoke my car. I added my new car to the list in my profile but the mod lists are still blank. All, I have to say is everyone that said my Sunbird LE was slow was right, the LD9 powered car I've got now is soo much faster its rediculouse. I can even keep V8 mustangs from passing me.

I don't know how good a standing I'm in with everybody, after what happened last time I was with the group, but accidents happen, and aparently 2nd gens don't stop worth a crap, especially when you've been awake all night and day. Oh well, I'll check back when the Quest guy finally gets around to climbing a pole and throwing a switch, and I get everything set up.

In the mean time, I'm wondering who remembers me and doesn't, plus I have pictures of my smashed car and the new one (If I can fiqure out how to post them) so go ahead and reply for christs sake so I'll have something to read next week.

Did you have to do it every 5 minutes though? IF it had a nice preasure release or a whine to it, it would have been pleasent. But, other than that ... it was just plain annoying.

Yea, I guess ill have to give ya that one, I've grown out of that kinda stuff and dont do it any more. I was probably just having a tad bit more fun than I should have been. By the way, I've updated my profile to include my "new" car correctly, not a lot done to it yet but not stock either.

Hey Nstig8r (if that's your real name ) where you the one driving the primered convertible w/ american racing wheels and air suspension the day I smashed my car? If so by the look of your sig, you've come a long way on it.

I finally took some current pictures today, yes the bike in the picture is mine too, after this I won't be posting any more giant pictures unless someone want's me to, because I still have a crap load of them.

OK, here we go...I've got lots of pictures of this, and a few of the carshow too, plus at least one each of the other cars involved if anyone really wan't to see them..
A little under 2 years ago, I was at a car show with a bunch of members heare (the accident pictured was on 494E), on the way back there where about 15 of us driving together heading to some park, I was the second in line until we started getting seperated, so I decided to slow down holding up traffic and letting the people I was with merge in front so we'd all be folowing eachother again. Now I'm the last one in the bunch, and suddenly (I still don't know what happened, I think wolfman was leading) someone in front slammed there brakes to the floor, reaction times added up, and the last 3 cars plowed into eachother, mine getting the worst of it, the car in front of me ended up on my hood pushing my engine into my firewall, the guy in front of him had his rear bumber and muffler smashed. My tires ended up locking up and I just couldnt stop.

Hey, TRDcav........you would be completely right on that one....the guy that bought (and installed) the bumpers on his car that day was the middle car (making him the one I hit) wich makes me feel that more crappy about the whole thing, but looking back, there wasn't anything I could have done different that would have changed everything. Hell, I completely totaled my car, and I still feel worse for him than I do for myself. I still REALLY wan't to know what the hell caused the whole thing in the first place though... not to asing blame or anything (doesn't matter), I just wan't to know what happened up the road...it's been bothering me for AWHILE, not knowing why my Sunbird is sitting in a junkyard...you all know how curiosity can eat away at you. Either way I still blame myself more than anything else (probably just guilt), although I couldn't help it. I'm pretty sure Wolfman knows, since he was leading. Hopefully everything worked out in the end for the dude in the green cavi. My PC fried shortly after.

well... your car was going at its suck limiter (which for that car was anything over idle).

there was a large white truck/van ahead of us that slowed down quickly. Dave had to hit the brakes, i hit mine and looked in my rearview to make sure i wasn't going to get smashed. Tanya changed lanes quickly to avoid me and i saw debris start to fly from the hit. all in all, Warren's car got scuffed, the green cav got messed up a bit (including the destroyed bumper he just bought that day), and your car was trashed. i remember trying to direct traffic around us so you could get your car to the shoulder and out of the way.

that's what i remember anyway.

Thanks tony thats all I was wondering about. Hey bolt, I wasn't really feeling well that day, so maybe I'm remembering wrong but past is past. I just wan't to make sure no one's holding any grudges, thats all. As for the suck limiter thing....I'll change it as soon as I get an actual computer. I'l probably just remove it and put text in it's place for now, I agree it's kinda dumb.
