Anyone know a any good places for a good paint job and a decent price, I have a 01 Z I always forget but I thinks its called indigo blue (its a stock metalic blue) I am looking in the north metro Cambridge, st. francis, Blaine, Anoke etc etc. or west metro area st. louis Park, Golden Valley area on out to buffalo. I dont want to change colors just paint and minor body work. Thanks in advance

Ouch, I painted a spoiler indigo blue about a year ago, and its in the highest price code, $80 a pint just for the color in ppg dbc, then add on clear and reducer, paint supplys. You are probably going to need a 2-3 quarts for a complete. Can't help you much in minnesota. Keep asking around and check references on who you decide to take it to.

If it's stock paint from the factory it's Arrivel Blue. As for a place to get it painted is Blue Line in Ramsey or Anoka. It's on the boarder of those cities. It's right off hwy. 10 coming from the west its on your right side just after Sunfish Lake Blvd. Another place is Rogers auto body located in Andover. I have a friend who works there they do damn good work as Blue Line does too. And it's cheaper than Blue Line. There located in Andover right off of Handson Blvd. and Bunker Lake Blvd. If ya go there ask to see Goerge or Roger himself (Roger is the owner and George is your main man)

oh and that was with door jams but not under the hood or trunk

Si Senor!!!!! lol...entire car..plan to have doors and inner tails shaved...rear lip molded on and possibly the skirts!! IF i can get a good deal on a total body job I'll be purchasin a ram air hood as well which is why I'm lookin so much into it~
paint quality is GREAT! the only problem he had with painting mine was a few drips of clearcoat hanging off the trunk, just a few small ones nothing that couldnt be repaired myself. you couldnt even tell they were there unless you either felt it or inspected it 2 inches away. let me know how it went and if he remembers me.
any word did you talk to him?

its quite possible he we to UTI for body work and got top in his class and he went to the custom hot rod program they have so i wouldnt doubt it if you gave the supplies

I finally got around to givin him a call..real nice guy...but DEF BUSY!!!!! He's going to check on colors for me and pricing at his work and get back to me..told him you recommended me and he told me he has to redo ur car..WHAT'D YOU DO!?!?! puts be back in time too!!..lol!
depending on the $$ of the candy apple red w/ pearl...i think i may end up just going w/ the base red w/ pearl in it~

yeah i put it into a 100 ft revene and smashed the whole side in a ripped off the back bumper. i got z3 fenders now so i want him to paint those and fix the damage and repaint. lol glad i could help.
