how are the police in wisconsin about tint...they pretty relaxed or do they enforce the 35% law pretty hard?...im wanting to do 20% on the 4 doors and 30% on the rear...you think ill get picked up for it?

bingo. every place and every officer is different. you might get away with it for a while until you meet that one cop who just has a bug up his ass and feels like busting you for it.
of course the end of the month is also a worse time due to fillin quota.

im in milwaukee........ cudahy to be exact and the first time i got pulled over was last month for modified exhaust by a milwaukee rookie. ive talked to many cops that i know from my place of work (bowling alley) most say its a rookie thing for them to pull you over for tint or loud exhaust cause everyone has it. but for tint Ive been pulled over in serveral different areas where ive been and only milwaukee cop said something about my tint. and i want to say my tint is at least 20% or lower dont know for sure. Ive been in greenfield, greendale, milwaukee, cudahy, south milwaukee, franklin, west allis, madison, and a few other place that ive been pulled over never got harassed about it...

Tint plays a lot of factor on what the cops mood is. and like people said above, being a rookie gives them the experience. For me i would do the 35% on all the sides, and then 20% in the rear, they really don't care as much about the back, as they do the sides.

I go to school in MN...and have NOT ONCE got pulled over for tint....but seems like EVERY TIME I go into WI I get pulled over for it!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been pulled over three times for tint in MN and haven't gotten a ticket yet. I have 20% tint on the rear windows. I know of a person that had just 20% on the rear passenger windows and he got pulled over for it and recieved a ticket. I would say it is just a luck of the draw when it comes to what kind of cop you get.

I rolled 20% without any problems. Been pulled over plenty of times too. Back when style wasn't my strong suit, I had the mirror tint. That got me a fix it ticket, but that was after 4-5 months. It depends on the cop and the township you are in. I never worried about my 20%. Then again, I never had loud exhaust to draw attention to myself. I say if you don't give them an obvious reason to pull you over, they won't nail you for the tint. That's my opinion though.

Actually, according to the officer when I got my citation, its 35% on the front, and whatever the hell I feel like on the back...

i have 8% all the way around and have never been pulled over for it. but thats my experience and it doesnt seem like that happens too often. oh yeah ive had it on for about almost four years now.

That damn HWY Patolman is the one who always busts my balls for window tint. I always see him in the mornings pulling someone over and has that damn meter with him. He sticks a piece on each side of the glass and voila.....ticket
seems like the odds are aginst me...i have a 4dr so are the laws the same as far as the back windows?
