This thread is for all of you people that have your cars in storage right now, like me, and that feeling you get about mid-winter when you're driving a p.o.s. winter car and you just wish your gem of a car (to each his own) could see the light of day. Today I felt the joy of taking out my baby and going for a long drive in it.
I woke up early to go to Green Bay for court (live in milwaukee), hopped into my winter beater (87 CRX si) and heard the now all-to-familiar squeak of the belt as i fired it up. I hopped on I94 and heard 'Snap'...I thought it would make me mad...I thought i should be screaming and kicking my car, but all i did was get a little grin on my face and i brought the rustbucket home. I practically leapt into the one red racing seat of my bored cavalier. I could feel her mood get better as i turned the key and heard the familiar rumble of that magnaflow.....
....point being...

i hear ya..even though i only have my one car..i just wanna cruse with all 4 windows down
eh, i drive my fire year round. just take off the body kit, rims and hood and it's in winter mode. havn't done any suspension work yet, so no need to lock up the car for the winter.
but i do want summer to get here simply so i can put all that stuff back on the car and make it look better.
yeah fodder when are you doing your suspension stuff?
I have a friggen 91 corolla that I drive almost yr round cause my car has been overheating since the middle of last summer!!!! I did get to drive my cavy over the weekend....pulled it into the garage to work on it on Friday n pulled it out on Sunday, lol

it's winter? you would never know. i park my cavi just when it snows. tires don't like snow and i try to keep it away from the salt.
