last i knew (unless it has changed within the last year) it's 30% rear windshield & rear side windows, 50% front side windows, and nothing is allowed on the front windshield.

hey be happy you don't live in Rhode Island. 70% all around. now thats LIGHT!

and basically since you have a two door the rear you can go as dark as you want. I have never heard/seen a cop check the rear only the front.

Sweet, if I understand it correctly......I should be able to tint most of my windshield, anything above my AS1 line...........that would be the visor right?............doesn't give a % though.

Be glad yall don't live in the land of the FIB's NO tint on the front windows, but any % on the back. We can have any % in the top 6" of the windshield tho

unless you got your windshield replaced you don't havea AS1 line. J-bodies didn't come with them. if you do have them there will be a small line and the word AS1 on your windshield about 6 inches down.

BTW... great place in Eau Claire to get tinted is Action Trim Design if you need it done.
It's across from the DMV out in Hallie.
Listen for their ads.
They periodically run specials for tint all the way around on your car for around $130.
Usually have a special in the spring.

if your just going to put tint ABOVE the as1 line...you can go as dark and blacked out as you want. I never even get pulled over w/ my vinyl on my windshield...well, not in MN that is. I used to have one 11 inches from the top of my windshield and cops back home didn't like it and decided to pull me over any chance they got.

AS LONG as you stay within like 2 of the A line ur fine to go dark as u want....or even put a black vinyl banner on there(ZeRo visability!!!)

as for the percent limits in WI...yes, they ARE 50 on the sides and 35 on the back 3, but every time i've been pulled over, they DO NOT pull you over for tint..they pull you over for something else such as speechin or illigal lighting and THEN after they have you pulled over they'll check your tint. EVERY COP that has checked mine...they tell me that the back 3 really don't matter as long as you have side mirrors. ALSO..great line to get off from a ticket??..."yeah, i've gotten pulled over before for it and i've already got an appointment to get it taken off this weekend!!" works like a charm!!

i have 8% all around and have never been pulled over.
Re: WI tint laws??

yeah...i have 5% all 'round..

..like i said, they 95% of the time won't pull you over JUST for your tint

I'd love to do 2.5% I'm prolly goin' with 35% on my truck tho, and the Cav will get 2.5% on the back windows (or maybe just 5, and 35% on the doors.
